Is it illegal to steal a penny from someones property?? I mean if i pickup the penny without them knowing it was even there, would that be considered stealing? Or is it finders keepers?

Under the law I guess it is theft but I seriously doubt any court (or person) would really care.

Its not technically theft. The property owners havent claimed ownership of that penny because they didnt even know it was there. Why the question?

lol just curious cause in case i find a penny to as much as a wallet on someones property, I weill find a way to give it back but technically I can keep the whole wallet too really
