Well the baby is just over a week old. There has definitely been some frustrating times but alas, I have been able to work through them. I cant wait until he grows up so I can do all the fatherly son things.

My first one had colick? So some nights I would have a glass of red wine with dinner, a few hours before feeding baby let some out first then feed baby ( my doctor said it was safe) baby slept through the night and now she reads on her own shes 5 so Im not too worried about the out come for her. lol. we also had both sleep with us for a little bit I slept on my side and when baby was hungry they just ate I dont think I have every slept so good.

a beer will work too.

Thats true.....although my girlfriend hates beer lol. Well we are getting him a baby sitter for Thursday night so we can have some alone time.

oops posted twice. alone time is a good thing it doesnt happen around here to often but when it does its good we went out last wekend with friends from work and kids came home to happy parents.

Yeah its always good to get away and forget you have kids lol

So did the two of you go out? Did you have a good time and where did you go?

Yeah we ended up going out for supper. We got a baby sitter for the night and had a nice dinner followed with some booze and a good nights sleep
